Hi all!
Come take my demo class at Old Town Yoga this Friday, November 4th at 5:45pm. This class will help me get my foot in the door at this amazing studio in downtown Fort Collins! Come support me and give good feedback! Thank you!
I’m feeling very blessed that my yoga life is growing so much and so beautifully lately. I have had a few amazing classes in the past week- my students have been phenomenal people and some have become new friends. I am continuing to teach my All-levels yoga class every Tuesday evening at 5:30pm at the Atrium. People are finding out about the Yoga Shala at the Atrium slowly but surely and I am excited to see the growth in our clientele. I’d love to see you there! I have also been lucky enough to be asked to sub a few classes and have had a great time teaching in some beautiful venues.
I have been taking at least one or two classes per week to strengthen my personal yoga practice, which inspires the poses I put together in classes. Thank you to my wonderful teachers and friends- Andrea Bilderback (who teaches at the Atrium and Old Town Yoga) and Chandra Sally Waggoner (at the Atrium).
In other news, I’m trying to downsize my commitments a bit, so I am cancelling the Saturday Temple Kung Fu Yoga for Martial arts class for now. Learning to say no can sometimes be more rewarding than saying yes to too many things. I love it when the universe gives me lessons loud and clear. My mantra in my classes this week was “Aham Prema“, meaning “I am the divine light”, and remembering to practice self-love by simply stripping away all the expectations and attachments to what we ‘should be’ and finding the love that resides underneath. Thanks to this mantra, I am working on being the best person I can be and taking care of the precious love light inside through my everyday choices.
Love love love and Light!
