About my yoga:
As a graduate of the School Yoga Institute at the Dharma Yoga Shala, and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) through Yoga Alliance, I am certified to teach Sadhana yoga, which includes many styles, including the slower, more meditative Hatha, classical Sivananda, breath-oriented Vinyasa, and the more athletic Ashtanga.
Sadhana means “spiritual practice” or “path to realization”, but to me it means so much more.
It is the study of living life to fullness. When you practice yoga you are on the path to finding the bliss within yourself.
A yoga teacher can teach you to do the asana practice (poses) and pranayama (breathing exercises) and the theory behind meditation. However, your intention is the most important; your own effort and dedication to your self is always the driving force.
Yoga has brought me to many self-realizing experiences, from amazing new friends to new dimensions of physical ability. I will do my best to help you connect to yoga and yourself.
If you are new to yoga, consider doing an In-home or In-studio One-on-One Yoga Training Program with me before jumping in to more difficult classes in the community. However, my classes are ‘All-Levels’, which means that whether it is your first yoga class ever, or your 1000th class there will be both relaxation and challenge poses.
If you’d like to bring the relaxation and health benefits of yoga to your coworkers or employees, learn more about my Yoga for the Workplace Program. Getting movement in during the work day can be one of the most beneficial things you can do for your work efficiency, your state of mind and the health of your body.
See you soon!
Love,
Sara
